It's been a busy weekend. My husband went away for the Fire Academy live burn. He got to go through different fire scenarios with props and real fire, all that jazz. I'm really happy for him and he had fun while he was training. Then there was me, feeling forgotten back at home. I have issues, I know I have issues. He knows I have issues but they were pretty well ignored over the weekend. I'm trying to just move on but it's hard so here is Monday and I'm still at the shut down, not saying much portion of my issues. I didn't really work a whole lot or write or read because I just couldn't focus. Today though I did get all of my work done and some house work. There's still more housework to be done and I'll get there. I got the ARC of another Carrie Ann Ryan book and I also have to put up the reviews of Moments in Ink now that it's released. Once I get the new ARC on my kindle that will be the book I read. Once I finished Handcuffs by Bethany Griffin, I never really started another book. That's kind of when things went to crap. Until I can find a scrapbook, I took my printed story out of my bind and put all his certificates in page protectors and in the binder to show off. He has 8 certificates right now and I know that he'll have more because he's already said he just wants to learn it all and I totally support him. This coming Saturday is another training and I think he said it's extrication. The class portion of it. The next portion is going to be like a live training, like the live burn. There will be more to come. I just wish it wasn't the weekend after he was already gone. I know, I'm screwed up and most will probably say selfish. It's why I never say anything. I don't even know why I put it here. Maybe because I'm kind of safe here. No one that knows me will see this and there is comfort in anonymity. It doesn't matter.
