Day 39 Promise 497 Luke 13:23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, 24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. 28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. 29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. 30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last. (KJV) Everyone wants acceptance. No one wants to be left out of what is important to them. Yet, many find rejection instead and turn away disappointed. Jesus told the people they needed to repent to find acceptance. Luke 13:1 There were present at that season some who told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? 3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. 4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men who dwelt in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. As Christians, you know repentance is the key to salvation. The Holy Spirit brings conviction which leads to repentance. Without conviction, you cannot accept Jesus as Savior and Lord. Without repentance you will knock and gain no entrance. You will watch, you will hear, you will see, but gain nothing. Repentance is key. Without it, heaven is lost to you. No one wants to hear Jesus say, I never knew you. Listen to the conviction of the Holy Spirit and repent. Only then will you hear Jesus say, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. (Matthew 25:34) Do you know Jesus as your Savior and Lord? Have you felt the conviction of the Holy Spirit? If you haven’t, there’s still time to repent and accept Jesus as Savior and Lord so you won’t be standing outside looking in. Jesus said you will see Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, along with all the prophets, but without repentance, you won’t gain entrance into heaven. When you die without accepting Jesus as Savior and Lord, separation from God is eternal. You can’t do anything about salvation after you die. You must repent now, while there’s time. Let’s pray: Father, let the conviction of the Holy Spirit fall on those who don’t know Your Son and the salvation He gained on the cross for their sin. Let Your Word sink into their soul and bring repentance and eternal life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. Copyright © 15 September 2020 by Valerie Routhieaux Image courtesy of Pixabay

Hi friend, Jesus Christ only saved us once. If someone truly confesses that Jesus is his or her Lord and Savior, and repentance of sin is genuine, he/she is saved from the pit. And sins have been forgiven.

Praying that everyday is a salvation day for those who don't know and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. I don't want that Jesus will say to me one day, He does not know me. I don't want Him telling me to depart. I seek Eternal Life and want to experience the joy, worship, fellowship in heaven.

That's right. Let's humble ourselves and repent of all our wrong doings in order to be accepted by God.
