Birds, sunrises and a dog!

Mother Nature never ceases to amaze me. The only times we see flocks of snow egrets is when it is about to storm or after the storm as happened these past 3 days otherwise we never see them! Looking out my front window, rear window or walking out the building door there they were, completely ignoring whoever came their way!
She also amazed me the other morning, when almost sleepwalking to the kitchen to get a glass of water, my eyes glanced outside and there was a beautiful sunrise. I don't think I have seen a sunrise since I gave up drinking the morning of January 21, 1981!!
I forgot to post the September dog last week so here is Butch!

@CarolDM Funny---I had 21 birds and I trained them to not make a peep until I got up and uncovered their cages! But then cats aren't birds!!

@GreatMartin Well, no but they cost anywhere from $1000 up to $5000. I've never ever spent that much for a dog. We spent $400 on Daisy and I thought that was outrageous.

yay! ya finally got to see a gorgeous sunrise 'fter all these years, lol. lovely pics. nature e'erywhere seems to be actin' a tad off. we've 'd a mass die-off 'f birds here'n new mexico recent. they're sendin' their lil bodies to a lab'n oregon to find the cause. saddens my heart greatly 's they're migratory 'n no tellin' how many've actually perished. kind'a gets the powers that be's 'ttention though when o'er 300 kill o'er 't the university there'n las cruces.
sweet pup!

Love your photos and a great looking dog. Say hello to Butch. All I see these days sitting at the laptop is the friendly squirrel running along the cable to get the food I leave it and then running back with full cheeks,
