Vegan Carrot Cake!!

Just had a slice of vegan carrot cake. Didn't know it was vegan until I looked at the container. Noticed it had an unusual taste, but still quite tasty. Vegan food isn't half bad. Think I'll be trying out more vegan pastries and cakes! Have you eaten vegan?

What exactly is the vegan diet, which foods does it eliminate? I've heard about people eating vegan foods, but don't know what they are talking about. Thanks!

I've eaten carrot cake but no idea if it's vegan. I haven't heard food here with label.vegan.
