How good does what's left of my loaf look? I feel a big bit coming on with Butter and Raspberry Jam spread quite thickly on it. Bread and Butter and Raspberry Jam Have loved this all of my life. It has to be good bread, proper butter, and of course home made Raspberry Jam, not at all sweet and with the seeds not removed. A feast fit for a King, And healthy, eh. Does this sound appealing to you? What's your fave Jam?

That looks like a huge, poofy bread ! I love any of that stuff . . . and I do like most jams. Does lemon curd count as a jam?

Lemon Curd is frickin awesome. But I spoon that down my billy goat straight from the jar. Why dilute the taste?

@JimBo452020 I love lemon curd! My neighbor says it's easy to make your own - but I've never tried.

This is how I make raspberry jam at home, not to sweet and the seed removed. I love bread with butter and jam. I also like strawberry jam, home made of course.

@JimBo452020 Those you buy have a fake taste, I guess it's corn syrup with artificial flavor and artificial colour.

@LadyDuck Store bought if it's the expensive Scottish stuff like Mackay's tastes almost like home made. But the rest of it is fake.

That bread does not look good to me. I am used to a nice loaf with slices. I would like to try the jam though.

You forgot to add some gourmet cheese in between the butter and jam. If no baked goodies at home but there is some fresh white bread this is what I do. Bread -- butter -- cheese -- jam, preserves or honey. Not sure I have a favorite flavor. I love many varieties.

@1creekgirl Normally I would agree. But one store near us makes the best White Cob I have ever had the pleasure of spreading Scottish Butter and Homemade Raspberry Jam on. It is better than my home baked/home made.

Freshly baked bread, what's not to love? Especially when you slather it with wholesome butter and homemade raspberry jam. Could you pass me a slice, please?

Got to agree, what's not to love about homemade bread. I think I did go over the top with the flour on the outside It looked like a snow person at one point. You can't have any, sadly I have indeed eaten it all up and all by myself apart from a chunk Yvonne had with some soup

I like plum jam - no seeds - and with cream. Vince is a 'townie' and likes butter, jam and cream. I was brought up on a farm and it was too extravagant to have all three. You either had butter and jam, or jam and cream. What's the go in your household?

Bread Makers are awesome. I first bought one when one night I had an attack of the munchies and had no bread in the house. I said never again. And some nights it's on at all funny hours, And now we make more bread than we buy in.
