It was a sad news for us who knew this person. This guy is our neighbor in the other apartment we rented. He runs a small store for his living, and maybe just to keep him busy as part of his life after retirement. We fondly called him "Tatay", a local term for father. He was a very friendly and energetic man maybe in his nearly 80's. He vacationed at Visayas to one of his son last March before the lockdown and did not got a chance to return home because it's getting stricter until now. I just learned the sad news today and I can't believe it. I don"t know what's the cause of death yet. It's been several weeks that I haven't been in that place as well because we're under on a stricter quarantine and we can't just go out.

That's my thought but according to a source, it's not. The old man might be feeling stressed because he wants to go home but can't because there is no transportation by air or sea commercially permitted.

It's shocking to learn that sometimes in March was the last time that I will ever see him.
