Good things seem to happen in the rain.

Once again, it's raining. Just as it has been for the past couple of weeks off and on. Yesterday was our only rain-free day in quite a while. Today, was our planned weekly shopping trip. Because of the rain, my husband almost backed out and changed his mind. Glad he didn't.
We had been looking for our favorite cut of green beans, and not only did we find them, but we found a sale on canned veggies. Spent a little more than planned, but also spent less than expected. All in all our shopping trip was successful. So, going out in the rain isn't always a bad thig.
Only bad thing, my husband's shoes got wet. Oh well. Easy fix. He'll be wearing different shoes for work tomorrow, and he has spares so his shoes can dry.
Guess rain doesn't have to be depressing.

@DianneN The day before yesterday, I saw sunlight and blue sky. Today I saw the same. The tropics have been very active. Tropical Storm Beta, could possibly bring more rain to the Florida panahandle.
Why won't you be returning to Florida this winter?

Yep. I think my husband is glad we did, too. We've been seeing a lot of empty store shelves slowly refill, but know it's better totake advantage of what we do find.

I am lucky enough to have moved out of a low lying area. Flooding is rare here, thanks in large to the storm drain that takes up a section of my front yard. But, it does flood here occasionally, still. I know first hand what a pain flooding is. Several states are dealing with huge floods as a result of hurricanes.

Rain cleanses the air and its surroundings. We had drizzle late afternoon yesterday as I posted in one of my posts. It left a cooler air through the night.
