Do you earn a lot for your effort?

I know some of you do not care for these kinds of post, and I get it certainly feel free to skip reading this one then. I’m going to be talking about earnings online not just about here and where I stand for the month.
I happened to look and see where I was in money in my Paypal. I was just wondering since it has been a while since I have looked at it. I have had the account for 10 years as of this year. I can’t believe it has been 10 years but that is what it says. Over the years I have used it for money earned online, I have never put money into it any other way.
I have spent some money out of the account here and there. Once I took $200 out for something I needed. I have paid for a few small things here and there and donated $250 once. So right now, I am just over $500. I am guessing I have earned somewhere in the $1000 in 10 years. That doesn’t seem like much but there were some years I was doing nothing in that time. The thing I like to think about is for very little effort and in my spare time I have made $1000.
Do you earn a lot online for the time and effort you put into it?

I don't earn alot but usually I just transfer the money into my bank instead of letting it sit there. I guess i could try to let it sit there and see how much i earn in 6 months. The only site I do though is this one I don't know of any other reliable pay sites on here.

@Blondie2222 Yeah, they either closed up or changed so much you can't make any money anymore.

I agree, besides it's money we make while doing nothing.

I also keep all of my online earnings in my PayPal account, and like you, I don't put anything else in there any other way. So whatever my balance is in PayPal is directly related to my online earnings. That account always has a significant balance in it, but I do spend out of it every year. At Christmas each year, my kids and I go to Disney World for a week for our winter vacation. So each year in December, I will withdraw whatever is in my PayPal account and use it to provide us with spending cash on our Disney vacation. It's always a pretty significant amount, so I'm pretty pleased with how well I do with my online earnings.

@Bensen32 We've done that as our Christmas/New Years family tradition ever since my daughter was born. This year will be our 21st Christmas trip to Disney.

I only do surveys, mylot as my online activities. I have made 10 dollars from virily but not active there now. Earnings go to PayPal and those are the only funds that go there. It's not big money but I am proud I make additional money from online activities. In my work environment with about 500 employees excluding my circle of friends and acquiantance numbering to thousands I can say that they don't even make a penny on online activities. I am fortunate to have a PayPal account

I don't earn that much. I am currently using mylot and a survey website. On mylot I barely make it to $8 last month, and made $5 from the survey website which is hard to make money becuase most times I don't qualify for them. So I made $13 last month. It isn't that much either!

The sites I've used over the years have helped pay for things like my wedding, cellphone or credit card or insurance payments as well as just presents. Sometimes it is worth it and sometimes it isn't. For me, the times when it isn't worth it are times when I am having to put in a lot of work for little effort.
I know of someone who used to spend hours and hours online and she managed to pay her bills that way, but I can't imagine it was very healthy for her.
