My niece sent the two Kabir chicks yesterday, in exchange for the big rooster . It had been with me for five months after the start of the lockdown. It grew so big, but noisy, am afraid the line neighbor near us will complain. So I traded it in with twioyoung kabir chicken. I love to see them enjoy their food. Will have to transfer them to a bigger cage.I placed it temporarily in an old bird cage.

Roosters can make a lot of noise when they want to - and some start very early in the day too.

Those are big chickens and they would consume a lot of food. I had also tried raising chickens that was meant for meat as well as another one that is for laying eggs ( white leghorn) as pets, they are really fun.

@acelawrites i raised and bred turkeys before but my children when they were young did not want them slaughtered and they would cry so they ended up as pets, I had to contract somebody in the market to give us vegetables they were not able to sell to mix with the feeds so as not to hurt my pocket.
