I am starting to crave some food lately. Tomorrow will be a market day for me. So I decided to hunt a banana heart. It is the main ingredient for 'banana heart sisig.' It is a healthy version of having meat sizzling on the table. It can be called a vegan style of sizzling. Have you tried eating the banana heart? Image Credit: imagesvc.meredithcorp.io

I have seen them hanging from trees but had no clue what one could do with them. Now you're telling me, thanks.

Basically, the food is made of a grated banana's heart with the other spices.

I want the salad version of the banana heart with thick coconut milk and some spices and condiments. You make me hungry during this hour of the night.

Unfortunately, I was not able to hunt one in the public market today. I also like the style of cooking you had mentioned.
