I write on a program called Scrivener and I post it to a site called Wattpad. It's a place for writers to get there work out there.
The first time I posted Wolf's End, I got so frustrated with it that I just deleted it in general off of wattpad. That is one copy that wasn't saved anywhere. It just wouldn't move after a certain point.
The second time is this current time. I now have it on Scrivener and most of it on Wattpad. I haven't posted the whole thing on wattpad yet because I was trying to see how it was before I went too far.
Now I'm sitting here debating on whether or not I should delete this version from wattpad and post this new one.
See, I was just editing a bit of the story here and there to see where I stalled. The story didn't really stop but I didn't like how the characters grew. I had two strong characters that just turned to crap and I'm not sure where it happened.
Well, doing that was a mistake because now I have not just edited but rewritten many parts to the point that I have another Scrivener project open to focus on what's changed.
The story line is still the same and it's still going in the same place but I'm rewording and adding and all those wonderful things that basically means I started over lol.
Now I'm wondering if I should take the second draft down and put up this new one. It's not like if I take it down, I won't have the original because I will. It's saved and I'm not letting it go because I did come up with some good stuff in there lol.
I have one friend that says go for it.
What do you think after this very long winded post lol
