Not Again! Itchy Throat

I hate it when this happens. A few minutes ago, I opened a sachet of cashew nuts I have bought yesterday in the Actions store. I have eaten a few nuts and started to cough, my eyes are itching as well as my throat. I think those cashew nuts are starting to have molds because this is my reaction when eating nuts with molds which cause me itchy throat and eyes. I am allergic to molds. How will I know if those nuts are with molds? I can´t open the sachet before I will buy it. Another nuts go down the bin. What a waste! Now I am drinking red wine to stop the itchy throat. Drinking alcohol helps a bit. How I wish I have liquor here to gargle my throat with the alcohol. It´s midnight here. Time to go to bed and I will surely sleep well because of the red wine. May be the bags were kept in a room that was not dry. You should bring it back and complain.

Maybe @LadyDuck. I didn´t want to go to the city again so I just threw the nuts. I have to be careful next time. I am getting nuts when I see nuts in the shop.

I didn´t take an antihistamine as it was in the middle of the night and the pharmacy was closed. I think I will buy an antihistamine for an emergency. Thanks @toniganzon

I'm sorry you had a reaction to the nuts. I've never bought nuts with mold that I know of. Hope you feel better.
