You won't like Ryan Murphy's new series starring Sarah Paulson if... You aren't a fan of American Horror Story You don't like Psychological Thrillers You despise sexual themes in television or movies. Ratched, like most of Ryan Murphy's recent work, is based off of reality. The show follows Sarah Paulson as Nurse Ratched, a woman who descends into bitterness and anger as she takes care of patients at a mental institution. I am on the 5th episode I think.. It's on netflix if anyone cares to watch it. I like it

I've always been a horror fan, though I don't always consume a lot of horror.

I finished it 2 days ago. I loved it very much. I am a fan of horror and I loved American horror story. I already knew that I was going to like it when I saw the trailer.

@Ladanger Did they? I didn't know that. I'm glad though, because it did appear as if they were leaving it open for another season. I liked the show.

I no longer have Netflix; and I don't think it's my kind of series; but thanks for the critique.

I keep netflix around because sometimes I'll binge watch. There are several things on netflix that I want to watch, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

@LindaOHio Oh I see. I used to have hulu (actually I've signed up three different times) but I got rid of it because it wasn't for me.

I have to admit that it took me entirely too long to realize that the outside door of the motel rooms is actually the back door. It confused me when they showed the hotel with all the room doors.

That sounds like a very amazing show I've seen the trailer for it and I do enjoy shows that have horror and gore so I'm really looking forward to watching it sometime.

Right, I know horror and graphic material isn't for everyone. I don't even like some parts of it, but those I just fast forward through.

The show had many layers to it. I admit that I had to look away or fast forward during certain parts of it myself.

Right, these kinds of shows aren't for everyone. I sometimes have to skip things like this entirely because the theme is just too much for me. It wasn't like that for me with this one, though I did fast forward over a scene or two.

I understand. Ryan Murphy twists the horrors of reality into something more sinister and yet, something you can't always look away from. I've had to skip some seasons of American Horror Story because it was just too much.

I am dying to see it. I am also currently watching season 5 of American Horror Story Hotel. I am way behind, though I have liked the series, when I am done with AHS, I'll watch Ratched.

I'm caught up on the seasons of AHS that I will watch. I don't believe I watched Hotel, but I can't remember. I didn't watch Roanoke, I know that.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I have liked AHS so far. I have stopped watching the series because I am currently watching other shows, but I will catch up with it eventually.
