Part of my busy week was running back and forth to our younger son’s house in the above photo. He had his lawn aerated and reseeded like we did, but his yard took two days. He needed us to supervise. Why? Because he was back and forth in Vermont, another state, looking at ski chalets for a few weeks. We went to see one he loved. Lots of driving in one day. He is going up there again to sign the paperwork. It’s near ski slopes, on a lake with a beach, a pool, 6 bedrooms, 6 1/2 bathrooms, a separate in-law setup, and is move in ready. He and his girlfriend ski, and so do my grandkids and their mother. Me, not so much. It sounds heavenly, but we shall see how long he keeps it.

@marguicha I still do, but one day it will end for me, too. At least my behind is firm.

Thanks! He’s young and able. The one in the photo is his house near ours. The one in Vermont is even larger with more steps.

His house is in the middle on his street. There are some much larger and some smaller. The ski chalet is a vacation home for now.

Thanks! I love his house here. He’s the one who bought the beach house in Cape Cod and sold it for a huge profit. Hubs and I have no idea how long he intends to keep this one. It’s gorgeous though.

@kobesbuddy Yes, it is. Everyone wants get out of big cities. Here, lots of New Yorkers have been buying up homes and paying above asking price in cash. That’s how both sons have been buying and selling homes.

Thank you! The house in the photo is very close to our house. He plans on staying there so he can keep an eye on us for a while at least. He bought a beautiful beach house in July, but sold it about 6 or 7 weeks later for a huge profit. I have no idea how long he will keep this one. He just smiled when I asked him.

@DianneN hahaha He is definitely one wise business man. I guess I'd do the same. If I knew I will get a huge profit for a house I just got, I'd sell it right away. He's strategic. I guess it runs in the family!

This one is a big house. How many kids does your son have ? There is an application called Adobe Fill & Sign. It allows to fill text and sign everywhere straight on a pdf document everywhere using the touch screen. No need to print anymore. Just send to the email or even Whatsapp.

@DianneN So, he has a big house to clean and to maintain alone. Did he think about moving to a smaller appartment and let others to live in this big one for a rent ? Can you please show some photos from the inside of the house ?

He has no kids due to being divorced for 9 happy months. I am sure he knows what's online better than I do. He wanted to get rid of some of the furniture and replace it.

That house is so beautiful it looks like something out of a Hollywood movie. The chalet sounds heavenly and it all sounds like a fantasy to me. Your son should be singing this song to his girlfriend,
Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

@DianneN It is so much easier in your country to buy and re-sell a house. It would be good to keep this one through the skiing season.

@LadyDuck I'm sure if he gets an offer he can't refuse, like in Cape Cod, he'd dump it in a minute. There is skiing right here in Connecticut and nearby in NY, but he's also stayed with friends in Vermont for skiing weekends at their homes. Time will tell. (My arm is killing me from golf this morning. I must have whacked a ball too hard.)

I can't tell you how many times we had to have our lawn done. Living on the beach is much better. He and we would do anything for each other. The house in the photo is the one near us, so it's never a problem with distance. The other one he will have to deal with alone. Too far!
