I'm too attached.

Last night my internet and cable went out, and I spent about 30 minutes trying to fix it. I was pretty frustrated, and was wondering how long I'd have to wait for someone to fix it, but eventually it reconnected. I had the realization that I am way too attached to my cable/internet. Are you?

I think that I am far too attached to my internet, but I do work from home and require it for that, so its a little different. Before I worked from home I would miss my internet before television services, because we stream for the most part and do not have cable. We need the internet to stream.

I run a business and do freelance work I have to be attached to the internet. Ours went out last month for about two days because someone tempered with the main hub. Stole wires. The whole town was out of internet.

I’m glad that it came back on. It is very frustrating when it goes out.

Of course. And that's okay with me right now. Eventually I need to dig into other projects and people more instead.

Oh yes, I'm definitely attached to my Internet. I don't have cable.

Yes, but essentially I just have to wait for it to come back on.

I wouldn't even know how to fix any of that. I just leave the scene and hope that it heals up on its own by the time I come back . Definitely I am attached more than I'd like to admit .

I work online as a freelance writer, plus have loved ones who don't live nearby, so I do need the Internet, to be honest.

We have no cable, but I know that I am seriously concerned if I have no internet.

I can happily live without it, but not when it adds to my notifications.

Yes and no. I can be without it if need be but it can be boring without.

Not really. I would miss it for the communication with family and friends though. I have made many online friends in the past 10 years.
