Not going to bore you

Probably the most interesting thing I have done today is to tear down the top of the stove and clean all the pieces. Hubby and I worked on lighting the pilot lights on the heaters with some success and some not. I could list a whole bunch of other things but I will not. I think I am going to go do some fun stuff just for me, and I will see you all later. I have cleared my notifications and gone visiting a few people here I have not seen in a while. Have a great rest of your day, or morning, or evening or whatever. Just make it a good one, okay?

@wolfgirl569 That is one way to communicate, but not very effective. I work with kids that are bigger but often have fits.

It doesn't sound like a bad day 2 me. I would've done some cleaning too but I ended up getting out of the house instead. The boyfriend had to drive 2 hours away to drop off a transmission so we made a day of it and stopped at the mall on the way home.

That is fun. I have one item in mind that I would like to either find or build, but I have not made it to sales or thrift shops to look yet.

But it does not take any hard thinking, so it is restful in a way.

@GardenGerty No, I just haven't gotten very far on it. It's a rendition of Roberto Ferruzzi's painting "Madonna of the Streets."
This endearing image reflects both the vulnerability and kindness of a young mother. Perhaps that is why it’s among the most popular religious items, sought after...

Cleaning all the pieces takes some doing. Here we are celebrating National Day and the Mid-Autumn Festival that happened to be the same day this year.

We opened the big package containing the pieces of our new cabinet/bench to place in the entry and assembled it this morning.

@GardenGerty It went well and I am so glad to have this bench where to "hide" the shoes and where to sit down to wear the shoes before going out.
