That was a long four months

Usually, I will have my hair trim for a month and a half or two. I can still carry my hair without being uncomfortable about the length. During the month of August, the Covid cases in my local spiked to certain numbers so I felt everybody is not safe to have a close contact with anyone else so I did not have the chance to have my hair cut. For the entire month of September, our city was placed to a more strict quarantine protocols. Shops are then closed again and only the essential industries are permitted to operate. Because I am not comfortable on wearing hair that is above the usual length I set for myself, I feel like those excess hair will puncture on my ears making me more uncomfortable. Today, for about four months, I finally let go off those excess hair lengths as barber shops and salons are now back in operation. The worry is still there but of course everybody must adhere the protocols set by the government and health authorities.

i think i've had 3 haircuts already since salons were allowed to open. my hair is at its shortest now so i don't need accessories like clips, rubber bands and headbands anymore.

After the first two months, our city here loosen the restrictions and starts accepting returning individuals from abroad and other provinces. After that, the cases zoomed and then we're then placed for a month on a stricter quarantine protocols. Now, a bit loose but still a strict observance and adherence must take place.

You are right Ms. Judy. Economically, emotionally we suffer more than enough. Our health is at risk and at stake that is why we need to apply more strength to ourselves. I hope too that this will end up soon.
