Day 58 Promise 516 John 4:13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinks of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. People thirst for many things, always seeking what they don’t know, so they can understand the world around them. Jesus had come to the well in Samaria and spoke to the woman there about living water. He also told her things about herself that surprised her. She asked Him for the water that would forever quench her thirst. As Christians, whenever you open your Bible to read, learn, and understand what God wrote, you quench your thirst for knowledge of God and what He can do for you. The woman at the well learned who Jesus was and wanted the gift of life He offered. Jesus quenched her thirst. He will quench yours too when you study to know all you can about God and His love for you. Let’s pray: Father, give me the living water from the well that never runs dry.
