Day 58 Promise 516 John 4:13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinks of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. People thirst for many things, always seeking what they don’t know, so they can understand the world around them. Jesus had come to the well in Samaria and spoke to the woman there about living water. He also told her things about herself that surprised her. She asked Him for the water that would forever quench her thirst. As Christians, whenever you open your Bible to read, learn, and understand what God wrote, you quench your thirst for knowledge of God and what He can do for you. The woman at the well learned who Jesus was and wanted the gift of life He offered. Jesus quenched her thirst. He will quench yours too when you study to know all you can about God and His love for you. Let’s pray: Father, give me the living water from the well that never runs dry. Let me learn more about You every day as I study Your Word. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. Copyright © 5 October 2020 by Valerie Routhieaux Image courtesy of Pixabay

@Shunnan You're welcome. I'm glad the study blessed you. I'm very happy my church has online services so I can enjoy it during this time when I can't get out to church. Our church is having prayer services again, which is good.

Without the Word of God, my life would be dry and desolate. I'd much rather have living water springing up from within my soul, that I'd never thirst again
