T-Shirt Projects

It seems like each year, particularly summer season - I go through a phase of modifying t-shirts. Last year it was tye-dye and bleach dye. I've also done ones where you - turn the t-shirt inside out, sew scraps of fun fabric underneath, turn it right side out and make cuts on the right side of the t-shirt , revealing the fun colored patches underneath.
This year I made a "fringe" shirt, where I threaded beads on the fringe, (the purple one), one where I glued little stones (leftover Diamond painting gems, actually) on to it (the blue one), and one with the patchwork as described above (black and white).
Up next - mom and I have a plethora of buttons in various sizes, shapes and colors, so I would like to sew them on a couple of long sleeve t-shirts.

So much fun to see how it works out, isn't it? Momma is quite the seamstress. I'm trying to talk her into doing the tie dye with me

@DianneN Lol, I just ordered a tunic - plain Navy. Momma has a big tub of cool buttons. My plan is to sew them on the tunic in a random type of pattern.
I will see if Momma has a shirt she wants to bling up :-D

Ah you're a more active type, Rob? That's ok. I can sew crazy things on your clothes by surprise

I needed a travel project once and stamped a paint design on a T shirt, then did the beaded fringe. It is a fun shirt whenever I want to wear it.

SO true! And in this case if it doesn't work out at least I have an "everyday" shirt to wear :-)
