This online learning is taxing.

As the world adjusts to COVID 19, education is also trying to cope, and online learning has started. The problem is, the lessons are sometimes so many that the elementary student is swamped with all the photos, videos, and homework to be submitted. It would be understandable if the students are in college and the method more student-centered. But these kids are still in elementary. I'm nearing the point where I would talk to the teacher and complain about the quick deadlines for submission, and so many things to accomplish. Not only are they tasked to finish so many assignments but they are also required to capture videos and photos. The parent almost has become the teacher. What are your thoughts on these?

Parents have jobs as well, so they cannot attend to their kid's online lessons all the time. How can a 7-year old learn online without an adult supervising her? Thanks for your answer.

For me I think it's okay because they get used to technology at Early age and it's an added advantage for them.

Yes, it is, if they just reduce the amount of workload. It's no longer fun, if so much info is shoved down their heads. Thanks for your answer.

I think it would be a good idea if you contacted other parents and talked to them about their experience. Then you can accost the teacher as a group. It may be more effective than if you do this alone.

Thanks for your suggestion. I was actually thinking about that. If I act alone, the teacher may not consider it as a valid complaint. Good idea.

Yes, they don't truly learn because there's not enough time to do so. Tons of questions to be answered in a day. How can you cram all that information into kids? Thanks for your answer.

Yes online learning is very difficult and all the time parents or the mother needs to be with the kid so it'll be very difficult
