What happened to the first Amendment? I hope no feels I have done anything to discourage them from expressing themselves? All I have asked to be treated with respect. I don't understand why that is a problem?
I have been interacting with other members. I am taking the advice of one member to use paragraphs. Thank you for the positive outside perspective. We never learn if we don't open ourselves up to new experiences, new cultures. I have lived in 7 different states and one other country.
I have also been discriminated against because of my culture. When I was 11 and went into town with my aunt a white man spit at me and said just what we need another dirty Indian. I would do NEVER that to another person. I do appreciate anyone that reads my writing.

That's a sad thing and so unfortunate. Any sort of discrimination is a big blot on any civilized society.

Thank you. Yes, it is an ugly thing in this world. I was raised though that those kind of people are ugly inside and not to be like them. All I ever see is another human being when I meet someone.

@DearAphrodite I know that what does not kill us makes us stronger, but many times it hurts.

Thank you. They can try. That which does not kill us, only makes us stronger.

@LadyDuck Yes, I acknowledge the pain and let it pass through me. Thank you for being empathic.

I wasn't offended Ruthie, your a sweet person and sometimes it takes others a little bit of getting used to. You will do great here. Ya know, when my daughter was 6 a little boy stepped out from behind a car and called her a "be@ner" because she is Mexican. She told him she was not and on the third time he said it she doubled up her little fist and knocked him to the ground. Then she stood over him and said "NO IM NOT", he never bothered her again. Sorry you went through that too.

I don't know if I'm right. There are people who are very discriminating and racists.

@DearAphrodite And it is really happening. And their victims became miserable for they could fight it back.

Sadly, yes. Ignorant and small minded. There are some people that are small inside that only feel better about themselves by putting other people down.
