Do You Consider Yourself a Success?

I am not successful by society's standards. But I like to think myself successful in my own way. I sleep and wake up when I want to and that for me is a huge luxury.
I live below my means and I like it that way because I have some sense of control and discipline.
God or the Supreme life source has given me time to live up to 40 and if I live to my 80s I'm still in the middle of the journey. I have time to achieve my dreams the best I can.
I have health issues but I am fairly healthy. My treasures are my happy and fun memories. Unless I get dementia, they cant be stolen from me.

That is awesome to be your own boss. Since I started drinking turmeric tea, UTI stopped making me suffer.

Some people rate success in life solely on money. As most people grow and age and live, they usually realize that it is true, money doesn't buy happiness. You have a very healthy attitude that will take you far in life. My success in life is something I treasure, because it's people, not money.

@yoalldudes true! so it will all depend on the person who will define his/her own success. A mother can be successful with her kids graduating from college and getting jobs, right?

There is no clear cut defined success here .. It's a perception . I would consider myself successful. I live a peaceful life, feel connected to Almighty, have beautiful relations and family around me and I wake up to a new hope each day.

Society has it's own definition of success. I may not be rich but I strive to live a better life mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. My treasures in life is my experiences that made me stronger and wiser, my determination to keep going, finding my own way to be happy and just express the real me without concern about people's opinions.
