Good evening from this side of the planet. It's 8 PM and I am done with all that I had to do for today.
And now for next two hours I am going to be snuggled in warm blanket and mylot
It's drizzling outside. It has been pouring and drizzling since Saturday afternoon and the temperature has really dropped.
We had a heavy early lunch today and that kept us full till dinner. And there was enough leftover from lunch and that saved me from cooking dinner.
I spent evening preparing for coming week and enjoyed reading for two hours. That felt like a luxury. Now I am setting aside time to read on weekends.
And I am revisiting all old classics.
My younger one wanted to bake. And I supervised her from the couch while reading my book. She baked two loafs of multigrain bread. I have attached the picture here. And she felt quite proud to do it alone in kitchen without any help from her mom or elder sister. She was beaming with confidence at her accomplishment

Now I will move to notifications and scroll all the way down to knock the older ones. How I wish the older ones were on top
Enjoy mylotting
Hope everyone had/ having a good Sunday

@arunima25 I'm glad it made her proud. A baker is a good career.
Yes, it doesn't feel good to lose them. Sometimes it can't be helped.

It came out really well. And of course it is better and healthier than the store one. She is interested in being a baker when she grows up. This was her proud moment.
I have lost a few notifications earlier and it does not feel good.It is time taking to scroll down to the oldest one while new ones keep pouring.

On a rainy day it is nice to snuggle under a blanket. That is great that you did not have to cook a separate dinner beca use you had leftover from lunch to eat. That was great that your younger wanted to bake bread and did it without your help. She should be very proud of herself and i bet you are proud of her too.

You are a good mother to encourage them to want to cook and bake. That is nice that you have helpers and they enjoy it too.

We are having continuous rain and drizzle since Saturday afternoon and now it's Tuesday afternoon here. The weather is making me lazy. We feel like snuggling in blanket whole day.
She loves to cook and bake and I encourage her to follow that. It was a proud moment for both of us
And I am happy that my daughters can bake. That means one work less for me

How old is your niece? You should encourage her to pursue her baking interest.
So what did you make from those breads fro your breakfast??

This was her first attempt all on her own. She has assisted her sister earlier and learnt the steps. And this time she just needed a few clarifications in between. Definitely a proud milestone for her

It is tasty and smelled so good
We used one loaf today for breakfast.
I agree with you. There is more to learn outside the books and we have to help our children to do that.
My daughters are into lots of activities besides academics and they are helpful with chores too.

We have to help ( indirect help) them to build up their confidence and self esteem. She was proud and so was I

Children have to learn a lot of things out of their books to be balanced in life. She enjoys baking and has all plans as off now to be a baker when she grows up
We mostly make our bread at home. It is better, safe and healthier than the ones in stores.
Have a good day

Are these the healthier alternatives the whole grain ones? Lovely loaf of bread. I wish I can bake too. Soon.
What you will be doing snuggled under the blanket on a rainy day is called "hyeugge" in Danish term.

Yes it is a mulitgrain and is healthier. We have many milletes flour mixed in it with regular wheat flour. They are rich in calcium and protein. We also add flaxseeds and chia seed to the flour.
Thanks for introducing that term. I like it and I am definitely going to use it

I just have to be around doing something else.
