Previous discussion I told you that my lead teacher, John, wants to resign his contract under extenuating circumstances.
I also told you an experienced special education teacher from another town was going to fill in as a long term sub.
Well, that is not going to happen. The sub, that is.
She was at school for about two and a half hours, observing what was happening and which kids we were providing services to, and she decided to turn down the office.
I am sure it looked much like a three ring circus to her.
And she is retired.
Probably not worth the drive and the stress.
Anyway, it is not going to happen.

They have a temporary solution of dividing the work between three other teachers. Hoping to find a new one next fall.

Next spring is when teachers will be looking for work for next fall. For now they are dividing his work between three other teachers that are already on contract.
