We Need a Vacation Badly

My husband and I need a a vacation badly! By now we would have been in one, but because of the pandemic we never really made plans yet. Last week, my boss told me to start to schedule my vacation days. I still have 3 weeks left to burn this year. It's been a very busy year - my husband was promoted and I took on more responsibilities. This year, I also obtained my certification for my profession, as well as another accreditation. I told my husband that I a done with school for now. I was able to meet my goals so that is enough this year. I have been working long hours too. My husband and I do not have the same days off from work, so date nights and spending time together have been so tricky this year. After next week, all our company mandated training will be over so we should be able to have a better looking schedule. We should be able to finally sit down and figure travel details, albeit a domestic one. We will take what we can get, we are fortunate to be able to spend this time together and enjoy our blessings together.
