My zoom got taxed

This morning i got shocked Its my 4th month using licensed zoom for online schooling in my school. For the first 3 month, i just paid $14.99. But today the bill says i have to pay $16.49.

The $1.50 is the tax

That is a shock. I would contact them. Perhaps it's taxable where you are. I have no idea.

maybe you should check the plan description? maybe it's only tax free for 3 months? or send an email to zoom's customer support so you'll know if it's an error or not.

There are several Zoom plans, the "Bassic" is free forever, but with limitations. Host up to 100 participants 40-minute maximum group meetings, unlimited 1:1 meetings. The Pro version for online schooling costs 14.99 per month.
