I was a little concerned this morning because I'm very stiff. However, everything went well. My knee is at 106 this morning. I only have four degrees to go. I should have that by Friday.
She looked at my leg length and saw my right is definitely longer than the other and accounts for the back pain I'm experiencing. I asked about going to a chiropractor. I don't think they like talking about that as she didn't give me an answer. She did however offer me a heel lift for my shoe. Of course, I needed to buy it. It should help and alleviate some of the pain. I hope. Though I don't wear shoes in the apartment. It will help when I go out.
She also said to put the heating pad on my back. So, heat for the back and ice for the knee.
Since I don't see her often, there are other therapists I'm also working with, she was totally impressed with the progress I've made since the first time she saw me.
Two and a half weeks until the next surgery. If everything goes as well with that knee as this one, I should be back in circulation in six weeks instead of nine. That will be awesome!
That's my good news. How are you doing today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me. From the Botanical Gardens.

Nice photo! I'm glad your therapy session went well. Chad had a lift in one shoe, until he went to a Chiropractor who fixed the root of his problem. Now, Chad's back is straightened out and he doesn't need a lift.

@crazyhorseladycx The massager works wonders. I also put the heating pad on it yesterday. That felt good. Now to get this messed up knee working well again.
Aww, that's so sad the feral got one of the birds.
I'm glad you gave Mr. Whiskey some scratches from me.

Thank you. I'm very happy and hope I can get those other four degrees by Friday. My back has been spastic all afternoon. Even with the heating pad. I'll be glad when the other knee is done and my back is once again realigned. I'll be very happy to greet the new year all patched up and working great.
I know you love a good challenge and those birds are a good challenge for you. I'm sure you'll get a few really nice ones.

That is great that your knee is improving all the time. There are those that do not believe in chiropractors. You certainly will be busy. That is great how you are coming along. That is great that you will be back in circulation in 6 weeks instead of 9. That is great news and thanks for sharing that with us today. I love the picture.

The correct lifts and inserts help a lot. I have some I bought years ago. Sometimes I go ahead and wear shoes inside because it does make my back feel better.

I had trouble getting my shoe on this morning because of the pain I was in from last night. It felt good to have the lift in it, but the leg that got the knee replacement had issues so I took them off.

It'll be six weeks. My knee is doing well most of the time.

Yes, it's longer because of the knee replacement. Thank you. The next surgery should even them out, but I'll still need the chiropractor to get my pelvic aligned. When she checked my pelvic I could tell the difference between each side. She could too.
I WILL have that four degrees conquered by Friday.

That's great news, and only 4 degrees to go...so close. Hopefully your next one will go as well as this one has.

Glad you are making some progress. I had an experience with a chiropractor that turned me against them. Then when my husband went to see one, the guy did get the spine aligned so that he doesn't have bad flare-ups anymore, but he took us for a lot of money. Turns out he is known for that. Physiotherapists are better. Even a lot of physicians wouldn't recommend a chiropractor.
Good luck and take care.

I have a wonderful chiropractor. I started going to him a couple of years ago on recommendation from my writer friend. He got my back aligned from the two broken legs I had, at different times. He's partially retired now, only working two days a week. I'll make an appointment with him as soon as the other knee is done.
I'm sorry you had a bad experience with them and they took you for a lot of money.

Your progress is amazing and I'm happy you're doing so well.
Hope the heel lift helps with your back pain and it's worth the money if it works

It didn't cost much. Less than $10. It looks like it will. Maybe I should wear my shoes all the time. I'm just not used to wearing anything in the apartment.
