Novmember can't come fast enough

We're halfway through October, but I can't wait for Election day to be over and done with. I am sick and tired of the hate being spread, lies from both sides, and politics tearing the country even further apart. Every election year, something big always happens. However, 2020 seems to be the one to top them all. I have never been a huge fan of politics, but it's causing the country to fall apart. I don't doubt we'll bounce back, but the road to get there is exhausting.

Same. While the election won't end all of it, it will end some of it.

I don't want to sound too pessimistic, but from what I am reading and seeing in the news, Nov. 3 will not be the end of it.

Yes, both sides are to the extreme! Nancy wants all or nothing! Why can't she agree to give the people their unemployment benefits while they work things out!! I thought if something passed the house and the Senate , Trump could sign off!! This lack of negotiation skills is indeed tearing things apart!!

The problem is neither side can agree. You need 2 thirds majority vote on both sides to pass a bill. Neither side can agree on how to do this. You can't blame trump, as he is not responsible for the sides arguing like children. He finally told them to stop talks until after the election, since they are busy fighting like children.

Politics is not tearing this country apart anymore than it ever has. There has always been division in politics. Just the nature of the beast. But this election is EXTREMELY important, I think, and I hope people are really paying attention. In reality we have RESTORED much of what we were, and I really am hopeful that we continue on that path instead of head back into reverse if we go the other way.
