The test is negative!

Yesterday we finally were informed that my son's colleague Covid test is negative. These last days had been awful, yesterday I felt so tired, it was like all the stress I lived these days was released and my body was telling me to rest now. Isolate someone that may be infected isn't an easy thing, these days my son had one bathroom for him, we wore a mask at home, he didn't eat with us, and stayed for longer periods alone in his room. I spend a lot of my time disinfecting the house. Today my son went back to school, his colleague will stay at home under quarantine despite the negative test. Unfortunately, I think this situation will be common from now on I will try to read my notifications and answer to you all today. Hope you all have a blessed day.

Sorry about all that you and your family had to go. But a negative test is a big relief. It must be tough. I don't want this to become a norm

That is a relief that he tested negative. I was tested positive and went through a very difficult time recovering from it. I hope you remain in doing so and be okay always. My place still is not open for face to face classes yet. It is a difficult time for many teachers because they have to struggle being online or for most doing school at home with their parents.

@nela13 l would say safe from the virus and on the way to recovery. My doctor says some symptoms may remain like difficult of breathing for sometime but it will eventually disappear in time.

How old is your son ? Eating alone with your family not far is not fun. Good that his friend tested negative ! Personally I was tired to clean and disinfect everyday, I bought an ozone generator doing the disinfection job for me when I am not at home : ozone kills bacterias and viruses, including Covid, and generators are cheap, although the price doubled since last March.

@nela13 I bought mine on Aliexpress, but you can find them on Amazon as well. Very interesting gadget, completely green (ozone comes from oxygen and converts to oxygen), the only precaution is to not stay at home when it is turned on, but ozone has completely disappeared after about 20mn.

That is so scary but I'm glad it was negative. Our grandson had to have a test because he ran a fever and work wouldn't let him back without a negative result, He was negative.

Yes, I think it was the stress that made me feel so tired and with body aches. Unfortunately the number of cases is raising and this will happen to many.

I still think many people are making this worse than it really is. But I understand the frustration and fear. If this thing was deadly, maybe it would give me more pause. But it is not that deadly, so I find myself just shrugging my shoulders.

@nela13 It's unfortunately a fake crisis, but we still have to live in the lies. I do understand feeling for your parents, though. There ARE people more susceptible to bad things with it. But most of us would get it and be just fine. Nothing more than the sniffles.
