I reached a new milestone yesterday, which was 100 million views of my photos on Google Maps!
I have been adding my photos - mostly of buildings - to Google Maps for several years, and it has amazed me how many views they get on a daily basis.
The one shown here was taken in 2016 in Norwich. If you click on "Marks and Spencer Norwich" on Google Maps this is the photo that pops up - and it has done so more than 3.5 million times since I posted it!
I have 11 others that have reached the million mark - although lots of others have only had a handful of views. The total number of photos I have posted is currently more than 2,300, and I still have plenty more that are ready to go up.
One problem with doing this is that you get no financial reward for so doing. As my wife has pointed out, just a penny for every 10 views would have netted me a tidy sum by now!
Here's to the next 100 million!
