Day 72 Promise 530 John 12:44 Jesus cried and said, He who believes on me, believes not on me, but on him who sent me. 45 And he who sees me sees him who sent me. 46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believes on me should not abide in darkness. 47 And if any man hears my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. 48 He who rejects me, and receives not my words, hath one who judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. 49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. 50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak. Many people try to tell you what to believe. They give you many reasons why you should believe what they tell you. Jesus told the people that those who believed in Him wouldn’t live in darkness or be judged by His Father on the last day for their rejection of Him. He also told them the Father would give eternal life to those who believed Him. As Christians, you have God’s Word to show you what to believe. The Old Testament provides the expectation of the Messiah to come. The gospels provide proof of the expectation and fulfill all the prophecies about Him. Jesus is the proof of the Old Testament prophecies. John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. (KJV) Jesus told the people to search the Scriptures. When they did, they would know He was their Messiah. The people looked for a Messiah who would live forever. Not one who would die. Yet it is in dying that they would live. Let’s pray: Father, Your Word is the proof I need that Jesus is Your Son and my Savior. Help me bring Your Word to those who will hear and listen so they too can receive eternal life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. And there is no other way to enter into the Kingdom of God. Through Christ's redeeming blood and forgiveness of sin, we are first of all forgiven and cleansed of all our unrighteousness. Then, when we pass out of this world, we will enter into heaven, to be with our savior, Christ Jesus for all eternity!

That is very true Valerie, we need the word of God as the manual for our lives. In Psalms 139, the word says God has the deepest knowledge of us ,more reason for us to always look into his word for answers about our lives,as he himself the word.
