Sometimes a blessing isn't huge, but it's sure welcome ! I had boxes of stuff left over from the yard sale a couple (?) of weeks ago, and one of my co workers took some of it to a charity, but said she'd come back for the rest another time (no clue when). I saw, while walking Angel this morning, a charity bag in front of a neighbors house. Me: They're picking up today? Cool! So when I got home, I started putting boxes out, moving the one I already had out that said "Free" on it closer to the driveway. I think I was coming out with the second or third box when a truck pulled up. The man that came out said about the stuff: "For United Cerebal Palsy?" Even though one of the bags (and the bag I saw at the neighbors') said "Disabled American Vets" I said "Yes!" While the guy was loading the stuff in the UCP truck, I went in to get another box. When I came out, the truck had gone down the street, two houses and kitty-corner from me where I had first seen the charity bag. So, I took the box and hoofed down the street to where the guy was loading my neighbor's stuff, he took my box, and I told him a big "Thank You!" Not that I don't have more stuff to get rid of, but now I don't have to walk around those half a dozen boxes, and if my co worker ever comes by again I can give other stuff I need to get rid of to her !
