Here is the scenario given during my training: Piolo Palacio is a 42-year old senior manager at a commercial bank. He oversees the processing of loan applications at the head office and supervises a staff of 20 people. He reports to the Assistant Vice President for Retail Banking, a 53-year old single woman by the name of Lucila Marikova. Lucila, in turn, reports to Patricio dela Rosa, a 50-year old veteran banker, who is vice president for Branch Banking Operations. Piolo is married to Manuela, a 38-year old full-time housewife with whom he has three children, a boy, and two girls, aged 8,10 and 12. They live in a modest bungalow at a subdivision in Marcos Highway, Antipolo. Manuela’s widowed mother lives with them. One day, Piolo received an email message from Globe Telecom. The firm informed him that he had just won the grand prize in a raffle. The prize is called “Executive Retreat”. Conditions: must travel alone for 14 days for free. If you were Piolo, in order of importance, list down the first 3 people in Piolo's life whom you think must be the FIRST to know that he has decided to avail the prize and take the trip alone.

First, I would suspect it a scam and do research to ensure it's not. Baring that, He should tell his wife, first. Then his direct supervisor. If necessary, the person above them.

I think this sounds like a scam by someone that wants to get hold of his money. I think he should refer this to the police.

Manuela, his wife, should be the first one.
