Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 63 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. The weather app says it is drizzling but that hasn't happened yet.
I'm on a break from work at the moment. I'm lecturing all morning on biodiversity. I've never actually taught this chapter before so it is my first time going through the notes. It isn't the most enthralling topic but I'm doing my best to make it interesting.
As usual I have no big plans for the afternoon. I will be getting an Instacart order from the grocery store. I think I'm going to make homemade spinach artichoke dip. It is a recipe in my new cookbook Modern Comfort Food by Ina Garten. I've been working my way through a bunch of them. Why not?

We had quite a few noisy thunderstorms here last night. The weather is going to be up and down for a few days -- 75, 77 and then in the 50s! Let us know how the dip turns out. We are finally going to go out to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary today. (It was October 3). Red Lobster is having a special on whole lobsters; and I knew that my husband would enjoy that! Have a great day.

Nothing going on here today
My daughter makes a dynamite spinach artichoke dip which is always popular at the holidays.
I'm sure your recipe from Ina Garten will be delicious
