Day 75
Promise 533
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but ye know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you.
People put conditions on love. If you do this or that, I will love you.
Jesus put the opposite in effect. If you love ME. Jesus already loves everyone. There is no condition for His love for you. However, if you love Him, the best way to prove it is to keep His commandments.
What is Jesus’ commandment?
John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. (KJV)
John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. (KJV)
There is no greater commandment than to love one another the same way Jesus loves you. When you do, you will show the world you are one of Jesus’ disciples. At the same time, Jesus promised to provide the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, to live in you forever.
Being a disciple of Jesus isn’t easy because the world would tell you God doesn’t love you. Jesus doesn’t love you. He can’t possibly love you because you’re a sinner. The world judges you by their standards. It doesn’t judge you by God’s standards.
Satan rules the hearts and minds of those who don’t know Jesus as Savior and Lord.
As Christians, you have the love of the Father living in you. When the world comes against you, the Holy Spirit shows you how to counter the world with love. It is hard for the world to come against love because it wants love more than anything else. Even though it doesn’t understand the love you show, it will succumb to love.
The world doesn’t understand the love that lives in you. It can’t. The world wants to put you in its box, a box that puts conditions on love. The Holy Spirit changes the conditions and shows you how to love the world.
Let’s pray: Father, help me keep your commandment to love the world. Let Your Holy Spirit help me show the world love by loving the unlovable. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

The Holy Spirit, God, and Jesus, his son, are supposed to be all the same personage of love.
This would mean that the Holy Spirit must love us too.
The spirit of truth then is the same as the spirit of love.
The enigmatic properties of love, require a spirit of truth, an originator of truth, and a vehicle to love, or focus the truth, through.
Jesus is the focus of truth.
God is both the truth itself, and the originator of truth, but he speaks truth to his spirit, which carries it, his truth, throughout all of creation then too.
