More Fog

United States

Happy Thursday Everyone! It's been a strange week waking up to fog every morning. The first two days the fog burned off and it turned out to be fairly warm and sunny. Yesterday the fog lingered and although it disappeared it was a dismal and overcast day. Today was another foggy start. The fog has disappeared now but it looks like it's going to be another gray sky dismal kind of day. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the sun comes out because it's actually warm enough to sit outside. It's also strange that we have such warm temperatures for this time of year. Nothing much happening here. It's a routine day which started out with laundry. Since the trash goes out tonight I'll gather everything and put it in the bins so my daughter can just pull it out to the curb when she gets home from work. I'm still getting things together to donate on Saturday. Both daughters are going to the high school to do the dropoff and then plan a trip to Michaels for some craft stuff. I already know I want them to pick up some yarn for me so I'm excited about having a new project to work on. My oldest daughter just gave me a book she finished reading called City of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert. She got the book for her birthday and said it was good so she passed it on to me to read. She also told me that our library is open!! I doubt I'll be going since I'm still Covid paranoid and I also have plenty of books to read on both my Kindle and also hardcover. Now I just need to get back into the reading mode. As always I'm having my coffee while I chat, the pups are snoring and life is good. What's going on with you today?

I was up early to help watch the kiddies while my daughter took her truck for service and my son-in-law followed to bring her back. Now, I'm sitting having coffee waiting to get my granddaughter at noon to head into Salem. Stopping at my RA doc, her singing and karate lessons then to my son's in Keizer. After that, just back home. I'm still worn out feeling.

We started off cloudy, but wound up with brilliant sunshine. Too nice to myLot, so we took off.

I went to exercise this afternoon and then picked up the few things I missed at the grocery store last week.

I wasn't up early enough really to see if there was any fog. It is certainly bright and sunny now. Unseasonably warm. I just finished wirting up my report from yesterday. Always a relief to get it done.

Enjoy your new project when your daughters bring back the yarn. You have a lot to keep you busy with those books. I'm sorry the week has started out foggy. I hope you can get outside to sit for a while.

I can imagine the foggy scenery in your place. We had a few days of foggy times but it changes from time to time with a bit of sunlight. I was grocery shopping today. I only do it once a week to avoid going out.

why do pups have better life than us? They are always carefree and they snore all the time.

I hope you find the book she gave you good as well. I worry about picking up Coronavirus from library books as well but my niece and nephew and I go get books once a week.

We've had a lot of rain here recently. But, that's not so unusual for Florida, and rain never gets me down. I am here because my mother is terminal. But, I am highly allergic to palm trees, and other things native to Florida. So, I stay indoors most of the time anyway. So far, I've had breakfast and coffee. But, in a bit, I am going to the eye doctors. That should be fun. I cannot breathe without a mask on, and I cannot breathe with one on. So, I am not a happy camper. But, I've put off going to the eye doctor since February, and I am progressively losing my eyesight (which is another reason I can't use a mask. It screws up the vision I have). But, I digress.
