Winter has arrived

Two weeks ago it was warm and grilling weather, and two days ago in Minnesota we got dumped on with snow- like 4-5 inches. The temp was just enough to melt and refreeze some of it, which has made roads crappy. Now two days later, temps remain at the freezing point and a little more snow is coming down, which is unfortunate. Was not quite ready for winter. And they are always so long here in Minnesota. If not for my family, friends and job I would consider packing and up and running away to somewhere with warmer temps (and likely, bigger bugs). One benefit in Minnesota’s long winters: the bugs go away. Hibernate? Due? Go underground? Not actually sure to be honest. No cock roaches here when it’s below zero. However, mice like to take homage...In homes. Are you ready for winter? What’s the weather like where you are? Also-photo attached is from yesterday when roads were all cleaned up.

We are in preparation for winter, here in the mitten of Michigan. We had some sleet last week, but only near the big lake. I didn't see it, as we're inland a mile. My sister lived in North Dakota for about five years. She said that winters were an absolute nightmare!

@marlina And people talk about the horrors of winter. I think I'm weird, because it doesn't bother me as before.

Not sure I am really ready for winter, although typically they are not bad around here...but I am ready for fall weather to get here and stay, and not one day 55- the next 75. Just some moderately cool sustained weather would be nice.

I'm never ready for winter and everything that comes with it. I saw snowflakes on Tues with the rain but nothing stayed on the ground then. It was quite frosty yesterday enough that I was concerned about falling but I went outside a different way instead. I'm sure it'll be here soon enough. Yuck!

I used to like when it snowed? What happened? Oh yea, I was a kid then hoping for no school. How my attitude has changed, lol.

I'd rather have the bugs. lol. But I do have some customers in Minnesota and I heard they got some snow. My guys in Wisconsin got a bit too. I am not ready.

Oh goodness it seems very early to have snow like that. It's fairly mild in England.

Is it not early to have snow? We still have autumn here. I am not ready for winter yet. My clothes? Yes but not me.
