Sort of Sweet and Sassy

I never liked the taste of Dr. Pepper, a carbonated soft drink, but many people did and still do. Even though I do not like the taste of Dr. Pepper soda, I love the taste of Dr. Pepper Sweet and a Bit Sassy Baked Beans that my husband buys at our local grocery store. He loves them too. These baked beans do not taste like Dr. Pepper's soda which makes me happy. Dr. Pepper Baked Beans have a very light touch of "sweet," however, I am not sure what makes these beans "sassy." I like the fact that there are no preservatives in Dr. Pepper Baked Beans. The white beans used in Dr. Pepper Beans are heart-healthy too. I just cut up a vegetarian hot dog and combine that tasty hot dog with Dr. Pepper Sweet and Sassy Baked Beans, heat, then eat. My mom used her own recipe to make homemade baked beans when I was a kid, but I have to say I like Dr. Pepper Baked Beans a lot better than Mom's. I do not like to cook or bake at all, so these beans are perfect for me.

@Corbin5 I liked it as a drink and not sure I would like it as baked beans. I get some baked beans at one place but now because I believe we are still in lockdown and because of the virus I do not venture to that part of town so do not get them and miss them.

It looks like they are 'baked beans with Dr. Pepper IN them' ("a time-honored Southern thing").

@sallypup Well, I will eat Morningstar Farms hotdog, hamburgers, and breaded chicken patties every now and then. I do eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, Chobani yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, peanut butter sandwiches, vegetarian-friendly cheeses made by Sargento, refried beans, nuts, protein drinks, and more.
