Monday Funday...Not!

It's a very busy Monday that started very early. We had some snow accumulation so I have to set some time for driving slower, therefore, poor me has to wake up an hour earlier. It's all good though, better be safe than sorry. There were lots of reports to run, updates to make, and emails/calls to respond to. This whole day also became a prep day of some sort for all the calls/meetings that are scheduled from Tuesday to Friday. Then I also have people constantly going in and out of my office for advise and approvals. I do have time to run home for a quick lunch, but then back to the grind for more work and calls. When I got home, I cooked shrimp pansit (stir fried noodles) for our dinner, and now I am prepping some chicken roast (pot roast, but chicken instead of beef) for the crockpot. I am going to start cooking this tonight so we can have it tomorrow for lunch. This is how I make sure that hubby and I will have some decent, home-cooked meals during the week, even if I have to be home late if and when meetings take longer. Now I am just chilling, relaxing with Netflix on and Mylot to keep me company, while husband is in the garage for some last minute projects around the house in preparation for winter. Monday fun-day? I think not, but it sure felt very fruitful.
