I know you have been asked this question before or you have heard someone else being asked. And yeah, we always see ourselves somewhere great in those five years. So five years back, that is 2015, if you were asked this question, can you say you are where you saw yourself then?
It is great to have plans and goals in life. It is great to have hope. But life is dynamic, filled with ups and downs and we have got to accept that. Sometimes our goals don't get accomplished and we find ourselves living the opposite or less than what we hoped to be, that should not discourage you. Wake up and keep going.

That is a very interesting question. At the moment I am 48 years old. My son is age 13 and my daughter is age 11. In five years I will be age 53 years old. My son will be 18 years old and my daughter will be 16 years old. I hope by that time I have paid a lot more into my pension. I took on paying for my mortgage in 2010 and it took me 5 years old to make it into a financial figure I could take down. I aimed to owe 25,000 on January 1st 2016 and be done to 10,000 on 1st January 2017. I saved in a regular saving account to pay it off in June 2017. In May 2019 I began paying into my pension.
