I was trying to fill out my re-certification for my Cal Fresh/EBT/Food Stamp card, which thank the Lord I finished, then realized I needed copies of some bills so that they could see what my expenses were. My copier/scanner hasn't been working in a while, so I called my next door neighbor to see if he had a scanner/printer. He didn't, and suggested my neighbor around the corner. I was going to do that anyway, but didn't want to call her first, since she's already helped me with a bunch of stuff (ie: my unemployment check stuff). So, I gathered the papers and wrote a note to leave on her door in case she wasn't home, but she was, so I talked to her and she went in and copied/printed my stuff and gave it back to me, so now it's all stuffed in the envelope and ready to go on the mailbox tomorrow, as the mail for today came while I was stuffing the envelope. Anyway--Phew!--that's what I've been doing a good chunk of the day. So glad that's done, it's ready to go, and I need to write on the calendar when my phone interview is (sometime next month--I have to look at some of the papers they sent to see the exact date).
