It’s almost Been Ten Years

I was just reading my friends post on Facebook, and realized that we are coming up on ten years since her youngest son was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. This amazing Woman, and her husband, faced impossible choices, she ha her heart crushed, and yet they are some of the strongest people I know. Sadly in 2017, they lost Elijah, attending a nine year olds memorial service is heartwrenching, and honestly I didn’t know what to say, but just being there was somehow enough for the family. These children deserve more than the 4 percent of funding they get for cancer research.
