Early to bed... Holiday ends...

Today is officially the last day of my two weeks long vacation. My school work resumes from tomorrow and that means I have to be back to my work schedule.
It's 9 PM and I am all done with what needed to be done and am prepared to start a new term tomorrow. 
This would be a short academic term with few holidays next week for Grand festival of Diwali. And the term will end with a week long Christmas vacation. So it will be few weeks and out of that few days will go for mid term exams. So very little to do on academic front. It will be mostly revision and reinforcement from last term.
Well I well utilized my break. Learnt a new skill, spent quality time with family, did some deep cleaning around home, prepared myself with lesson plans, worksheets and test papers for next term and relaxed doing nothing at times
. So it was a well spent break and I am all rejuvenated and looking forward to work
My colleague is still not well and I will be substituting her in this term too. So my work time will be tight and packed. But I have all ready to tackle it and so it's less stressful.
I need to wake up early at 5 to finish my chores and exercise before I start my work at 8. In this holiday, I woke up around 6_6:30 every morning. So today I plan to sleep early and shift the wake up time back to 5.
Here I am in bed after a hot shower, I will mylot for a while and close my eyes by 10.

Vacations are a real therapy from the monotonous work :) Now you will be reenergized to work from tomorrow. For us students it's a very long year of vacations.

You are right. We need breaks in academic year to rejuvenate ourselves. Both teachers and students need it.
Why is it a year long vacation??

@Hercules7 Oh! That way. It has it's own share of good and bad. I hated driving in traffic every morning to reach my work place. Now here I miss the fun of a physical class.

@Nakitakona I will do that for the whole of this term everyday. I did it for a week before the vacation and continuing it. She had a bad fracture and surgery. She needs time to heal.

The Hibiscus plant looks awesome. You indeed had a good quality Holiday time. I am on an off today, as had some special work. Although the plans were changed, but I kept my off day as anyways I have many leaves pending in my Yearly quota!
Not much to look forward to but we have a few more plants and I plan to make up on Mylot and some reading in some of the Holidays that I will get.
Time for our tea shortly.

Yes this holiday was well spent and did a variety of things daily. So it was well balanced. And yes I finished one short stories collection. Enjoyed reading it aloud to my younger one. 
My husband has all his leaves pending. So he plans to take few days off next week to make it a full week off. This work from home is making him crazy. There is no start time and end time.

@ShifaLk Students of Grade 9 to 12 can come on voluntary basis with a consent letter from parents. No parents have opted for it.

I am not going out. It's online classes. I have also not been to school since March 17 except one day before this vacation where we went to handover some stationery and art kits to children.
