Trunk-or-Treating Was a Bust

I thought I would share a photo of Eli in his costume - he was spider man!
We planned to go to the big trunk-or-treat event around the park in town. However the line was probably a mile long! Okay, not literally....but it felt like it went on forever. We decided to leave and just go super early next year to get in line.
We did take him to a very small trunk-or-treat in a church parking lot....so he did get a little candy and even a small toy (firetruck). We also took him to my mom's friends house and she gave him a small bag of treats.
Did you go (or take kids) trunk-or-treating/trick or treating? How was your Halloween?

it could've just been that way because of social distancing, unless people weren't doing that.
My cousin didn't get too much from going trick or treating but she was happy to still dress up and get to go out for a bit.

@Courtlynn Well so not too far into it yet...
Nobody here seems to care. Not many wear masks in the stores, etc either.

Nope, no social distancing...everyone was standing right behind another person....and the line went on forever. Most didn't wear masks either.
That's good to hear that she was still happy to get to dress up and go out for a bit. It can be tough on them when they don't get to go as much as they are used to, or would like.

Sorry there was such a long line. We don't have any children; and there are never any Trick or Treaters in our area.

It is okay, just was crazy....and I am sorry to hear. Although if you don't want to give out candy to trick or treaters, then I guess that is a good thing.

Hallooween is not much celebrated here in our country, not even today because kids are not yet allowed to go outside gue to pandemic.
I think you kid enjoyed his costume. :)
