I have 3 bells and not one is in a good shape.

When my husband built the house, he bought an elegant bell. We could answer from upstairs or downstairs and know who was at the door before opening it. Some teens during Halloween decided to rut paste in the bell and now it doesn´t sound. I called an electrician and paid him. But he did not do much. Them Marco bought an inexpensive bell, but it seems rhat nobody minds it. So it does not work. Now I will have to wait for my friends to come. Those who come more often know that they have to call me by cellphone.

It's good that they call by phone before coming. Have you heard the good news about the election? Biden is in.

What a shame that kids would ruin something precious and beautiful.. A phone call or knock on the door would work, too. We have a doorbell. Is that what you mean?

I have a fence around my house. Si what I had was a doorbell where the person outside could talk with the person inside to say who he was. The word I found in the dictionary was intercom.

@marguicha they don't have choice. I hope you can find a good doorbell so it's easy for you and for the visitors :)

It is a shame none of your door bells work. I agree that a friend can ring your cell phone and then know he or she is coming round. Your husband did well to build such a lovely house.

They did what on Halloween? Hmm... hope they got a trick, instead of a treat, in the next house... Just kidding, just kidding! Wasn't nice of them, though. Hope they realize the error of their ways soon...

The last one I instaled was not expensive but it seems that I will have to write down by it "this is the one".
