Presenting the Rhinoceros Cockroach

I discovered this horror online. Here I thought there could be nothing worse than those large flying cockroaches we have in Florida but then I met this critter. Luckily it does not invade homes and it is far away from me. The only good thing about a rhinoceros cockroach is that even though it is big it is not as big as a rhinoceros, These can live for up to a decade and they can grow to become 3 inches long, They are also known as burrowing cockroaches and make homes undergrounds. They are native to Australia so perhaps our Australian friends can say something about them,

@DianneN most likely that would step on you. Anyway, I have enough fright when flying one comes through the window, I am glad this is far away in Australia,

@RasmaSandra Me, too. It can stay there with the snakes and poisonous spiders.

@RasmaSandra Yeah but then I would have to feed him, take him for walks, etc. Too much responsibility for an old man like me!!

All I know is that I would not this thing in my house. But those cockroaches in Florida can become quite large as well. Floridians like to call them Palmetto bugs but really they are just American cockroaches and are found all over the United States.
