As you may or may not know, Alex Trebek has passed from stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He first announced this in March 2019. It sounds like he put up a good fight. He was the longtime host of the game show Jeopardy! ,succeeding Art Fleming. I actually saw a hint (for me anyway) about a month ago when another guy was hosting his Colonial Penn commercials. You know, where they give you life insurance regardless of medical condition? I guess Alex or Colonial Penn thought this was going a little too far. Anyway, he will be missed as a host. he must have been disappointed they had to stop producing the show for a while during the pandemic, until precautions could be made. His last show will be aired on Christmas Day.

Did hear of Trebek's demise. May he rest in peace. Jeopardy is a favorite game show. The geniuses are pitted against each other. Wow! Admirable beings the contestants are. And so was the host who was as quick witted an intellectual was as in all the rest.
