I am pretty sure this is the original Benji Movie. There were a series of movies that came after. They were made in the 1970s and they centered around a dog who helped solve mysteries. I remember well as a child liking these movies. I thought Benji was a cute dog. Do you remember these movies. It looks like what I am posting is that whole first movie.

Yes, when my son was here, we would rent movies about animals. He loved dogs. I remember seeing this one.

I remember when that movie was released, but I have not seen it.. 1974 through 1976 were not good years for me, plenty of problems.
