The Usual Weekend Post.

I don’t post my usual weekend posts when my weekend is uneventful, but that wasn’t the case for this past weekend (or at least some of Saturday lol). On Saturday, I gathered with my sisters, best friend and a few others to try on bridesmaid dresses for my younger sister’s wedding. I found one that I liked, but I’m not posting a picture right now. I may find a different dress between now and next October. I think the colors are going to be plum. I was supposed to wear charcoal, but I didn’t care for the styles so my sister changed it. She wants everyone to feel comfortable and beautiful in their dresses. :) After a little over an hour, we all went our separate ways. My best friend picked my older sister and me up because she lives 10-15 minutes away, so of course we left with her. We stopped by 7-11 so I could grab a hot dog and soda, as I was starving. Afterward, we decided at the last minute to stop by the thrift store that was across the street. I’ve been looking for another coat, as mine is bulky but also fleece-lined (which is great, but it doesn’t have that coat insulation that keeps you warm). I haven’t found any I liked enough to spend money on until I came across the coat in the picture I’m attaching to this post. It was only $10, and it’s insulated but not as bulky. It’s maroon and tan, and I really like it. It’s already been washed, so it’s ready to be worn when the temperatures really drop. It’s been in the 70s lately, so I won’t be wearing either of my coats right now lol. The rest of my day consisted of napping, getting online and watching The Ref (a holiday-themed comedy starring Denis Leary). Sunday was a day of lounging for the most part. I did work on a few short orders, and I watched the Thanksgiving episodes of Roseanne, but that’s about it. Oh, I did start on my Christmas cards and finish setting up my work schedule for the week. But that’s really all I did last night. It was just a day to chill. Okay, I know this was lengthy, but I was rarely on here last week, so I’m making up for lost time lol. ;) You all take care and I’ll be back for the final post of the night, the Gratitude Challenge, in a few minutes.
