When Everything is Being Done Online

Because of the current situation, our office adopted the work from home scheme. We were divided into two groups. I belong to the second group wherein we need to report on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Meaning, we are on a work from home mode on Mondays and Tuesday. So, today, I attended a webinar via Zoom while doing other tasks assigned to me.
Most of the tasks are to be done and submitted online while there are some tasks that I need to complete offline and I need to drive for a few minutes like when I need to pick up some stocks or some documents from suppliers.
It was indeed a busy Tuesday and tomorrow I need to report physically to the office.

The electricity was just restored. I am planning to buy generator set next year so I have back up during times like this.

Since I have been an online worker for nine years, I am already knowledgeable on how most of the online apps works. So it is not a problem with me.

We have also adopted a remote work set-up, at least for the support and admin staffs. Since I am a lead, I can be called to report on site if there are any issues that would require an in-person attention. Thank goodness for technology we are able to continue are work without disruption. I made a rotating coverage though, so each staff will only need to be on site once a week.

Yes, technology is such a great help with our work and we belong to the early adopters. Before the office decided to use technology in its day-to-day transactions, we are already using it on a regular basis.

Well, actually I like when I'm home because I can attend to my business while doing my office work. But it's also good when I report physically because I will be using the facilities in the office like aircon and electricity.

Time flies swiftly. I don't have small children anymore but both my children are still with me until now even if they are already working. Maybe I need to wait until they decide to get married so I can also take care of my grand children. Yes, mom have super powers! Thank you for dropping by.

When it comes to meetings or trainings, I prefer the face to face but with current situation, it is best that it is being done online.

Well, this pandemic has taught us quite a few valuable lessons. And we have seen that work from home/anywhere is feasible in many sectors. Now onwards we can take this system forward. That will definitely bring down the traffic, pollution and save a lot of energy and commutation time. I sincerely hope that it carried forward.
